Vath Shavige is a traditional recipe of Karnataka made with rice flour dough, pour into the mold and make long vermicelli (Shavige).
Ingredients of Vath Shavige
- Rice flour – 2 cup
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Water – 3 cup
- Salt to taste
- Heat deep pan adds water, salt, ghee, and 2 tbsp rice flour allow boiling.
- Now add rice flour without stirring cook for 20 mins and mix well without lumps.
- Make a medium size ball and pour into the vermicelli mold and press the mold.
- Now, Rice flour vermicelli is ready to serve.
This you can serve with chutney, coconut milk or any non-vegetarian sambar.
