How to make Chilli Stuff Rolls in Bengali Style

Chilli Stuff Rolls

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Chilli (big) – 5-6 nos.
  • Maida flour – 50 grams
  • Ajwain / Omkalu – ¼ tbsp
  • Potato – 2 nos.
  • Peas – 25 grams
  • Chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Jeera powder – ½ tbsp
  • Tomato sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil for deep fry.

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Preparation Method:

  • Take a pressure cooker add potatoes (peel out the skin), peas and salt to taste, cook for 10-15 minutes.

  • Take a bowl add maida flour, ajwain / omkalu and salt to taste and mix it like a chapatti batter. Keep a side.

  • Now take out the cooked potatoes & peas in a bowl smash it into a fine paste, to this add chilli powder & salt to taste mix it well.

  • Cut the chillies into half (long do not cut full) and take out the inside seeds and stuff the potato mix. Keep a side.

  • On another side take the maida batter and roll out like chapatti and cut (like a ribbon)

  • And roll the batter ribbon to the stuffed chillies. (do it for all & keep a side)

  • Heat oil in a kadai for deep fry, now one by one fry it, till golden brown.

Yummy...! Crispy, Spicy & Tasty Chilli Stuff Rolls are ready to eat... Serve hot with tomato sauce.
