 Vangi Bhat is Very tasty and easy to cook for the starters. Today I would like to share with you the VangiBhat/Wangi Bhat recipe which I prepared.

Ingredients of Vangi Bhat

  • Cooked rice – 2 cups

  • Brinjal – 2 nos. (Chopped)

  • Vangibhath powder – 2 tbsp.

  • Chana dal – 1tbsp.

  • Urad dal – 1tbsp.

  • Groundnuts – 1 tbsp

  • Lime juice – 2 tbsp

  • Coconut (grated)

  • Coriander leaf (chopped) 

Preparation Method:

  • Heat a pan/kadai for seasoning with oil, mustard, curry leaf, groundnuts, chana dal, urad dal fry well till golden brown and add VangiBhat powder.

  • To the above fry add cooked rice, coconut,  and lime juice mix it well.

  • Finally, garnish with coriander leaf.

  • Very tasty Vangibath is ready to eat.
