Besan Murukku is a traditional cc crispy snack, made with besan flour.

Ingredients of Besan Murukku

  • Besan flour – 1 cup

  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

  • Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for deep fry

  • Water

Preparation Method:

  • Take a bowl to add besan flour, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, salt to sate and 2tbsp oil (add heat oil to make it crispy).

  • Add water a little at a time and form into a thick paste.

  • Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, take some of the murukku mixes, put it into a mould.

  • Now, press from the mould into the hot oil.

  • Fry until it turns golden brown.
