Chicken Lasagna Recipe without pasta

In Chicken Lasagna, you usually use pasta that contains some starch and calories. In this lasagne, the pasta is replaced with squash.
Provides approx. 4 servings (1,700 grams in total).

Chicken Lasagna

Ingredients of Chicken lasagna:


  • 500 grams of chicken

  • 1 squash

  • 450 grams of spinach (whole leaf, frozen)

  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes

  • 1 onion

  • 2.5 dl. skimmed milk

  • 3 tablespoons Salsa Sauce

  • Parmesan cheese (as needed)

Instruction Steps:

Thaw the spinach and chop it roughly with a knife
Cut the squash into thin slices lengthwise, sprinkle them with salt and equate them between paper towel (preferably under something heavy so that the liquid penetrates).

Fry the chicken strips in a little oil and curry.
Chop the onion and fry it in a little oil in a pan.
Pour the tomatoes into the pan along with milk, salsa sauce and all the spices.
Let this sauce boil for 15 minutes and then taste it. with more spices.
It may be strong as the spinach takes some of the taste.
Smooth the sauce with a thickening of flour and water.

Add a layer of squash plates, pour a little sauce, place a layer of spinach and a little chicken, and sprinkle with cheese.
Continue in 3 layers (or how many can be made) and finish with sauce and possibly. cheese.
Allow it to bake a little before baking in the oven at 180 ° C. oven for approx. ½ hour.
